Darrell is an enrolled member of the Confederated Salish Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Indian Reservation in Western Montana.  Darrell's art is that of helping others.  He creates amazing Walking/Hiking Sticks and Canes from Diamond Willow Trees.  He takes Great Pride in his work and it shows.
These walking/hiking sticks and canes are peeled, sanded, and varnished for a smooth feel, he also adds rubber soles to the bottoms for added grip and decorates each stick uniquely with different patterns and designs from yarn that is also glued on.
His hiking/walking sticks are great for the outdoorsman/woman and great to have when hiking/walking uphill or downhill, they really help your balance and are so strong you won't have to worry about them giving out on you, and because they have been sanded and varnished you need not worry about splinters.
The canes Darrell makes are very creative.  They too are peeled, sanded, varnished, and have a rubber sole for grip, in additition they have an Elk Horn for the handle, which gives his canes a very distinct feature that you will not be able to find anywhere else.
